New Content and Features: 4 September 2007
Point features for Cyrenaica have been added and enhanced support for bibliographic citation incorporated.
On 4 September, we enhanced the content on pleiades.stoa.org as follows:
- Point features for Cyrenaica
- Corresponds to BAtlas Map 38 - Cyrene by D. Mattingly
- Provides basis for interoperability with J. Reynolds' Inscriptions of Roman Cyrenaica (forthcoming)
- Enhanced bibliographic citation
- Individual works citations now point at full bibliographic citations via the Ancient World Mapping Center Bibliography
- Provides bibliographic control and uniformity
- Establishes basis for interoperability with other bibliographic and digital repository systems
You can browse the full content of the Pleiades site via our places page. From there you'll find links to the site search engine and to various sub-collections, organized by time period and place type. These individual pages have links to KML files for display in Google Earth.
You can also download a complete copy of all the data as a single KML file at: http://www.unc.edu/awmc/pleiades/data/kml/places-all-2007-09-21.kml
