Chiara Palladino (Durham University) and Tom Elliott (ISAW/NYU/Pleiades) will co-host this online event, bringing together editors of the Digital Classicist Wiki with colleagues who work in the area of geographical and spatial data. The DC Wiki (wiki.digitalclassicist.org) is a collaboratively maintained collection of records about digital projects, tools, approaches and other resources for ancient world studies, categorised by area of historical study as well as by digital humanities methods.

The workshop will focus on expanding and updating coverage of digital resources on geographical and spatial data on the ancient world, including gazetteers, mapping tools, geodata repositories, analysis of spatial information, and infrastructure initiatives. For new contributors as well as experienced editors seeking a quick refresher, the session will include a practical introduction on how to edit and add new resources to the wiki.
