Near Artemida/Loutsa in modern Attiki, the archaeological remains of a temple in the Doric order were first identified in 1956. Excavators identified the sanctuary as belonging to Artemis Tauropolos. The compilers of the Barrington Atlas, in keeping with the discussion offered in PECS by C.W.J. Eliot, associate the temple site with the deme of Halai Araphenides.

The Chalcolithic settlement site of Chogha Mish, also known as Tappeh-ye Choghā Mīsh, dates originally to the early seventh millennium BCE and is located on the Susiana Plain of western Iran. The site was occupied continuously from the Neolithic period to the Proto-Literate period. It was eventually eclipsed by nearby Susa, but BAtlDir maintains its occupation through at least the end of the early Roman imperial period, and possibly later.

A two-aisled Doric stoa ran along the south side of the Panathenaic Way from the Stoa Basileios towards the Dipylon Gate, which contained shops. It was constructed over a long period beginning in the early second century BC and repeatedly modified. The building was destroyed in the Herulian Sack of 267 AD, rebuilt, damaged in the Gothic Sack of 396 AD, rebuilt again, and was finally destroyed in the Slavic Sack of 582 AD.
