The Sauer or Sûre river is the ancient Sura. It is located in what is now Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany and is a left tributary of the Moselle. It flows 173 km from Vaux-sur-Sûre in the Ardennes in southeastern Belgium and eventually joins the Moselle.
