History
The largest island in the modern Khawr al-Bayḍā lagoon in the Emirate of Umm al-Quwain. Archaeological surveys conducted between 2012 and 2021 have identified two major and a variety of minor archaeological sites while beginning to establish dates and sequences for human occupation and exploitation of the island.
