A tell located in Iraq's Sinjar region that was first noted by Seton Lloyd in the mid-1930s. Lloyd conducted limited excavations. Additional fieldwork, including both survey and excavation, took place in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. The site's life began in the middle of the third millennium BCE and continued into the second.
