Remains of an ancient settlement of Roman date, recorded by Gsell (AAA, whence BAtlas). The location should lie within a kilometer of the BAtlas coordinates: a point along the modern road between Meğana and Chebaïka in the general area of Dawadiche, Bordj Bou Arreridj wilaya, Algeria. Gsell reports a site covering approximately 5 hectares in mountains on a ridge above the source of the "Oued el Melah" about 1.5 kilometers from the "mechta Oum Arif".
