Pleiades

The house is named after its large Doric peristyle, onto which many of the rooms open. The house also featured a number of mosaics that are now partly still in place and partly exhibited in the museum of Cyrene. According to Goodchild, it was destroyed by fire (possibly in the fourth century AD).
