Mentioned by a number of Roman writers, Nagara was a region in the southwestern Arabian peninsula associated with the ancient settlement of Anagrana/Negram and covering the area of and around the modern Nagran/Najran govenorate in Saudia Arabia and adjacent portions of Yemen.
