The Forum of Theodosius in Constantinople was founded by Constantine as the Forum Tauri. In 393, Theodosius I rebuilt and remodelled the forum to resemble the Forum of Trajan in Rome. The forum occupied the area of what is now Beyazıt Square in Istanbul.
