An ancient settlement located between Kenchreai and Korinth. Archaeological survey and excavation reveal a rich record of human occupation from the Neolithic period onward in the area around modern Hexamilia. The Archaic through Hellenistic center seems to have been concentrated east of Hexamilia in the area of modern Kesimia (just west of Ag. Demetrios), with a possible subsequent Roman-era shift to the southwest around Monastiraki.
