Barrington Atlas: BAtlas 61 G4 Chersonesos
The Barrington Atlas Directory notes: Daraçya.
Secondary scholarship discusses both literary and epigraphic testimony to assert that Carian Chersonesos should be understood to occupy "the Loryma peninsula", a landform taking its name from the major polis located at its southern tip. Bean notes also that Carian Chersonesos includes "a certain area around the head of the gulf of Hisaronii. How large an area is uncertain". The polities of Carian Chersonesos - including "Bybassus, Castabus, Cyrnus, Loryma, Syrna, Amos" but excluding "Cedreae, Physcus, Pyrnus, Erine" made a group contribution attested on the Athenian tribute lists at some points in time.
