An ancient Greek city on the Kerch Strait whose remains are now largely submerged. The surveyed and excavated portions of the city, including fortification walls and other structures, lie on and offshore from an unnamed cape, south of the modern village of Naberezhnoye/Naberezhne, that separates the open waters of the strait from the Yanysh-Ghol Salt Lake.
