The Yaoshan Site is part of the larger UNESCO cultural heritage landscape, "Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City". According to UNESCO, the Yaoshan Site dates ca. 3300-3100 BCE and covers an area of some 66.56 hectares (164.5 acres).
