Aegyptus Herculia was a Tetrarchic province of the Roman empire established during the reign of Diocletian. During the fifth century CE, Aegyptus Herculia was incorporated as Augustamnica or Augoustamnike, initially part of the Diocese of Oriens and then of the Diocese of Egypt.
