In December we asked major Pleiades contributors and partners to respond to and elaborate on 10 propositions and questions about opportunities facing us. The results will be used in setting priorities and seeking future funding.

The responses without elaboration are all we present in this document. We'll follow up with a summary of the elaborations in as soon as we can.

The first page was introduced by the following sentences.

On this first page we're looking for a sanity check on our own list of opportunities that are currently being missed. Please indicate agreement or disagreement with our assessment and elaborate if you are moved to do so.

2. Pleiades is missing significant opportunities to foster third-party development via modern search and read-write web APIs.

The second page was introduced by the following sentences.

Here are a few more potential opportunities about which we're less certain. The final question is a bit of a hydra: we invite you to elaborate on opportunities that are in our blind spots or are so newly emerging that we haven't heard of them.

6. Is Pleiades missing significant opportunities due to a lack of social features (favorites, like buttons, rich snippets, twitter cards, etc)?

Agree: 4, Disagree: 11

7. Is Pleiades missing significant opportunities by limiting its scope mainly to the Greek and Roman world?

Agree: 7, Disagree: 8

8. Is Pleiades missing significant opportunities by not focusing more on famous places and less on the long tail?

Agree: 2, Disagree: 14

9. Is Pleiades missing significant opportunities by not publishing more of its research and results in academic journals?

Agree: 7, Disagree: 8

10. Would turning over development and/or operation of Pleiades to a bigger and better web shop be a significant opportunity for Pleiades?

Agree: 2, Disagree: 11
