At 8:30 a.m. US Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, 5 July 2016, the Pleiades website will be in read-only status for a feature upgrade.

At 8:30 EDT on Tuesday, logins to the Pleiades web application will be disabled and all active login sessions will be terminated. We expect the site to remain available for anonymous use, so searching, viewing, downloading, and the like will continue to function. The "read only" period is expected to last no more than four hours.

We will announce the start and end of the "read only" period via the Pleiades Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Thank you for your patience. We apologize for any difficulties this maintenance period may cause. If the deployment goes as expected, we will have enhanced capabilities for describing and documenting the connections between Pleiades places. This upgrade is part of the Pleiades 3 project, funded by the US National Endowment for the Humanities
