Established by statute in 2008, the Forre di Corchiano is located along the Rio Fratta, a tributary of the Tiber, and is rich in its heritage. The landscape includes remains of prehistoric and protohistoric cave settlements, tombs and Faliscan via cave, a Roman bridge, a section of the Via Amerina, an ancient mole, Faliscan hydraulic works, as well key examples of twentieth-century industrial archaeology.
