The precise location of the Assyrian monument is not recorded in scholarly literature. The OSM node 3509667557 (کتیبه تاریخی آورامان) suggests that the coordinates are for an attraction, a historical inscription. The position matches more or less the position described on the website Iran Review, where Sargon II's rock relief is reported to be "about 500 m northwest of Tangivar village."
