History
*Atuna is often identified as classical Tynna, but that proposal is not entirely certain. If it proves correct, then *Atuna and Tynna should be regarded as one and the same city. If not, then one should probably look further north for *Atuna, near Bohça, ca. 40 km west of Kayseri, since a Luwian inscription of Kurtis was discovered there.
