Pleiades

The Samnite House is a 2nd-Century Hellenized-Style House in Herculaneum. It is famous for its atrium-focused orientation, an atrium that has two stories (three sides with pilasters and interspersed latticed fences and one side with a loggia). It also does not include a peristyle.
