Atyantakāma-pallaveśvara-gṛha is attested as the name of several seventh-century Pallava rock-cut and cave temples in Mahābalipuram. Furthermore many of the verses of the inscription of the Gaṇeśaratha are found verbatim on other Pallava monuments of the same period. It is thus not to be excluded that Atyantakāma-pallaveśvara-gṛha is a later name of the original foundation, given not long after the actual foundation. The original name of the temple, if any, is unknown.
