History
An ancient river of Mauretania listed by Ptolemy. Gsell (whence BAtlas) argues it is to be understood as the upper course of the modern Oued Sahel, down to its confluence with the Oued bou Sellam (Roman-era Sava) thus forming the Oued Soummam (Sava/Nasabath).
