A Roman aqueduct supplying the city of Tubusuctu. It delivered water from the area of modern Thala Itchouren to the El Arouia cistern complex on the northern side of the city. Laoues' 2015 thesis reconsiders the 19th and 20th century reports and hypotheses concerning the aqueduct's catchment, sources, and route in light of extensive on-site survey and ethnographic work with local communities.
