History
A toponym that appears in the Regionary Catalogues of the fourth century CE. The same toponym describes a vicus in the inscription of the vicomagistri base (CIL VI, 975 = ILS 6073). Based on Juvenal (3.10-20) it is hypothesized that this place was located just outside the Porta Capena.
