A tell settlement, known today as Tehouda, located in modern Algeria and mentioned by Pliny the Elder. Archaeological remains at the site provide evidence for mud-brick fortification walls and might be consistent with a sixth century reoccupation and Byzantine garrison of a "Dabousis" recorded by Procopius.
