History
The so-called House of the Chaste Lovers at Pompeii is located on the north side of the Via dell'Abbondanza. The site has been the subject of ongoing archaeological excavation since 1987. It is located in insula 12 of Regio IX. It adjoins the so-called House of the Painters at Work which lies to the north.
