History
The northern wall of Egidrukalamasumu, the temple of Nabû of the ḫarû, abutted the southern wall of the still-in-use Assyrian Ištar temple, which had been originally constructed by the Middle Assyrian king Aššur-rēšī-iši I (1132–1115 BC).
