Located in Etruria, Aquae Passeris was frequented in antiquity for its thermal springs, as noted by Martial. The site is included on the Tabula Peutingeriana, placing it on the road from Rome to Volsinii. Its location likely corresponds to that of Bacucco, a comune to the north of Viterbo.
