The Subertani were an ancient people of South Etruria. Pliny places them in Regio VII region. The center of Forum Subertanum is mentioned in Livy's account of 211 B.C. Lugli suggests it is possible that their territory lay in the province of Viterbo.

Base map by Ryan M. Horne for Pleiades and the Ancient World Mapping Center (ancient terrain after the Barrington Atlas). Map interaction design and implementation by Sean Gillies, David Glick, Alec Mitchell, and Tom Elliott for Pleiades.
