A complex of stone-built structures in Migori county, Western Kenya, in East Africa, Thimlich Ohinga belonged to the Luo culture. The architecture is evocative of the Great Zimbabwe Empire located in Zimbabwe. The site was enrolled on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2018.
