Podouke/Arikamedu is an archaeological site located in Kakkayanthope, Ariyankuppam Commune, Puducherry, India.

The site is mentioned in Ptolemy's treatise and was, in the twentieth century, excavated by Sir Mortimer Wheeler. The Barrington Atlas Directory notes: Arikamedu, Virampatnam.
