An ancient river mentioned only by Pausanias who describes it, along with the Koios, as lying between Andania and Kyparissia in Messenia. RE declines to identify it with a specific modern river. BAtlas 58 labels a river stretch corresponding to the middle course of the modern Mavrozoumena river as mapped and named in OpenStreetMap, but in BAtlDir the corresponding modern name / location is given as "Chouchlotos", which does not appear in GeoNames, OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, or elsewhere on the web.
