The Barrington Atlas and DARMC both place Ecobrogis at or near the village of Sorsavuş, Kırıkkale, according to the conjecture published in TIB 4, 105, n. 98. A different location has been proposed by Strobel 2002, 27 (pace Yörükan 2009, 151): a site between the villages of Kalekışla and Faraşlı. The location of the archaeological site of Gültepe Höyüğü appears to fit that description. For photos, cf. Yörükan 2009, 151 and Turkish culture ministry website.
