The Neo-Hittite kingdom of Gurgum (Hittite Karkuma, Luwian Kurkuma, Aramaic grgm) was located north of the Amanus mountains. Gurgum, whose capital was Marqasi (modern Maraş), is known from Akkadian, Aramaic, Hittite, and Luwian sources.

Gurgum's capital city was also called Gurgum, a place known from later Assyrian sources as Maraqasi/Maraqasa.
