The largest of seven mounds near the modern village of Qariyah Khamsa. Based on the contents of several cuneiform tablets discovered at the site, it is tentatively identified as the location of the ancient city of Malgium, the capital of a kingdom in the Ur III period. It is one of several tell sites in the region, collectively known as Tulūl al-Fāj.
