Çelebibağı is a modern city in the Van province in south-east Turkey. Here a stele with an inscription (CTU A 11-1) of the Urartian king Argišti II, son of Rusa (8th / 7th century BCE) was found which reports the creation of an artificial lake in this mountainous region.
