Is this not the village attested in Evagrius Scholasticus, Hist. Eccl. [pp. 156 and 158 in TLG citation], with the Greek form Σίνδη, ethnic Σινδηνός? If so, then the Greek form should be added. Am upstate, don't have BA handy to check, let alone RE.
