Guganis (Göganis) is an abandoned village in the Hayots Dzor valley, situated in the plain of Gürpınar in the south-east of Turkey. Here a column base with an inscription of the Urartian king Argišti, son of Minua (8th century BCE), was found which was re-used and engraved with an Armenian cross and an Armenian inscription and graffiti (CTU A 8-38)
