A gate in the Aurelian Wall at the summit of the Ianiculum through which the Via Aurelia passes.

The modern Porta S. Pancrazio replaced the Porta Aurelia in 1644, under the patronage of Urban VIII. That structure was subsequently damaged and removed during the 1849 siege of Rome, at which time the present gate was erected.
