Details:

According to the Sumerian King List, Keš was the first city to have kings after the Deluge. The present location of the ancient city is unknown and some scholars have suggested Tell Abu Salabikh as a possible location; Tell Wilaya is another likely candidate for Keš. There is no archaeological or textual evidence to confirm either proposal.
