History
An ancient place mentioned by the Ravenna Cosmographer. Rivet and Smith (whence BAtlas) consider it unlocated in southern Scotland. RENames tentatively identifies it with the Roman fortlet now known as "Gatehouse of Fleet" and nearby hillfort now known as Trusty's Hill (q.v.).
