Pleiades
The sanctuary was located between the Phaleron gate and the Itonian gate, probably just inside the walls, at the north-east corner of the junction of Makrigianni and Chatzichristou streets. The temenos of Neleus and Basile, mentioned in IG I^3 84 (ca. 418/7 BCE), was a tract of land distinct from, but apparently adjacent to, the sanctuary.
