The stele of a Roman military officer dating to the first century A.D. located at modern Dikilí Tas (Ντικιλί Τας), an archaeological site with evidence for both prehistoric and Byzantine occupation. The stele stands just to the east of modern Krenides, only 2km from the center of the ancient city of Philippi, which lies on the west side of the modern town.
