- The necropolis associated with the unlocated city This (Thinis), capital city of the unified Egyptian kingdom in the Early Dynastic period. The necropolis stretches for 1.5 kilometers and contains thousands of burials from the Predynastic period through the early Coptic period, with particularly large numbers of burials from the Predynastic period (ca. 3800–3200 BCE) and the late Old Kingdom-First Intermediate Period (ca. 2300–2061 BCE).
