- Situated on the Caelian Hill, the Arcus Dolabellae et Silani sits at the northern corner of the Castra Peregrina. The gate dates to A.D. 10 and is likely a rebuilding of an earlier gate that was part of the so-called Servian Wall, perhaps the Porta Querquetulana (or Querquetularia) or the Porta Caelimontana.
