- The so-called Tomb of the Shields and Chairs at Caere dates ca. 520 - 500 B.C. The organization of this tomb is similar to that of the Tomb of the Capitals and the Tomb of the Cornice. It has a short dromos and a large vestibule. In the vestibule are two seats carved from the tuff bedrock as well as a series of hanging shields carved in relief.
