Last week the editorial college published 3 new and 142 updated place resources, representing work by Jeffrey Becker, Catherine Bouras, Tom Elliott, Greta Hawes, Brady Kiesling, Rosemary Selth, R. Scott Smith, and Richard Talbert.
Last Week in Pleiades (4-11 December 2023)

A terrain map with 142 orange "plus sign" markers indicating updates and 3 pink circles indicating new place resources from the British Isles and Iberian Peninsula in the northwest to the northern Red Sea and head of the Persian Gulf in the southeast.

New Place Resources

  • A Roman station located along the road from Nisibis to Thelser that is attested on the Peutinger Map.

  • The House of Actius Anicetus (I.3.23) at Pompeii is best known as the site where the fresco painting depicting the battle between the Nucerians and the Pompeians in the amphitheater of Pompeii was discovered.
