The Barrington Atlas provides two possible alternative modern identifications along the Eisack/Iscara river in South Tyrol for the location of ancient Sublavione, which is attested both on the Peutinger map and in the Antonine Itineraries: Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena and Klausen/Chiusa.
