An ancient river. Ptolemy places its mouth on the Adriatic coast of what is now Croatia, between Lopsica (modern Sv. Juraj) and Ortopla (modern Stinica). BAtlas followed prior scholarship in identifying it with the former course of the Gacka river, which was diverted in the 1960s for power generation. Other prior scholarship assumed Ptolemy was in error, suggesting the Tedanius be identified with the modern Zrmanja river, which is located significantly further south than Stinica.
